Powernet Continues to Grow and Support the Agent Network with New Channel Manager

Local communications technology provider Powernet has hired Steve Cantrell as a new Channel Manager. Cantrell will be responsible for fostering current agent relationships while recruiting new agents.

The new position was created to help expand Powernet’s Agent Channel. “Steve has the character and relationship-building abilities we were looking for when hiring for this role,” said  Anton Loon, Vice President of Enterprise Sales.

Cantrell started his career in telecommunications in 1999 at ConnectSouth Communications. Since then, he has continued building his telecom expertise by working with numerous telecommunications companies as well as with notable Master Agencies like Telarus and Intelisys. Cantrell’s product portfolio includes VoIP, SIP, T1, and Wireless among countless other solutions and operations. 

With Powernet headquartered in Cincinnati, OH, and agents located all over the United States, Cantrell will remain in his hometown of Austin, Texas.
