Using The SmartRing Service
Q: Can I make outbound calls?
A: SmartRing is an inbound-only calling service. You will not have the ability to make outbound calls from your home phone number.

Q:How do I call 911?
A: You will no longer be able to call Emergency 911 from your home phone number. You will need to dial 911 from your cell phone in the event of an emergency.

Q:Do I have to forward incoming calls to cell phone numbers?
A: No. Your forwarding numbers can be any telephone number you choose, wireless or landline.

Q: Will all inbound calls to my home number go to my cell phone?
A: The caller must choose your forwarding number after the auto-attendant greeting in order for the inbound call to connect to your cell phone.

Q: What happens if the caller doesn’t choose an option?
A: If the calling party does not choose an option, the call will simply timeout and end without being forwarded to any of your forwarding numbers.

Q: Do I get voicemail?
A: Voicemail is not available for calls forwarded from your home phone number.

Q: Is call block available?
A: Call block is not available for calls forwarded from your home phone number.

Q: Can I get international calls?
A: Yes, you will receive all incoming calls regardless of where they originate.
