Describe what you do at Powernet:

I help customers get the most out of their Genesys Cloud service as well as address questions, comments or concerns that they have.

What is your experience with Genesys products?

I have been working with Genesys for about a year now. In prior roles, I was the admin of the system, so I would help with changes as well as answer questions that users, agents and management had.

Why should customers choose Genesys + Powernet over another platform?

From my own experience as a customer, Powernet truly cares for their clients. There were many times where I would reach out with a question and I would have an answer within minutes or on a call to discuss in more detail. They did/do not only support their clients, but help them learn in the process.

What's the best thing about your job?

I know it sounds cliché, but my favorite thing to do is help. Being on a team that assists customers gives me the opportunity to help multiple people out in one day. My thought process is that I am able to be a “hero” to someone almost everyday, which I feel gives me purpose in my position.

What do you like to do when you're not at the office?

A few things I like doing are: hanging out with my wife, taking our pups out on walks, driving and exploring new places, home brewing (still a novice), and anything Star Wars related.

If you could pick one superpower, what would it be?

The ability to teleport myself, others and objects. No more traffic, a lot more sight seeing.

Advice for others who might want a career similar to yours:

Always say yes to whatever task is asked of you, even if you do not know how to accomplish it. You will learn what it takes to accomplish it as well as what the right questions are to ask along the way. This will help you build your internal knowledgebase, which in return will help you accomplish future endeavors. Additionally, introduce patience into your life. A lack of patience will cause stress. If you are stressed, you are not thinking as clearly. If you are not thinking as clearly, you are not growing as quickly.

Do you have a secret talent? What is it?

I do not believe I have a secret talent. If I discover one, I'll let you know. :)
