Powernet, a leading full-service technology provider, and Maxis360, a leader in IT managed services, have officially agreed to terms allowing the two companies to merge into one.
Cincinnati, OH, August 30, 2018 - Powernet, a leading full-service technology provider, and Maxis360, a leader in IT managed services, have officially agreed to terms allowing the two companies to merge into one. The announcement comes after a two-year joint-venture between the two organizations that began in January of 2016 enabling both entities to begin selling each other’s technology and IT solutions.
“The merger between these two companies will serve to strengthen the team’s overall ability to serve our customers,“ says Alli Stevens, CEO of Powernet. “We’re thrilled to have so many talented team members from Maxis360 that share our core values & beliefs join Powernet. This is an exciting new chapter in the company’s history.”
With a growing pool of experienced engineers and a rapidly increasing product offering, the combined offering of Powernet & Maxis360 solutions will allow the company to better serve its clients. Both organizations bring a high level of expertise in a variety of technology solutions including voice, data, Wi-Fi and IT managed services.
Integrating products between the two companies has come naturally. Powernet’s Public Safety Signal Booster solution was researched and marketed by the Cincinnati team, however, after recent changes to the building requirements, many businesses in Florida are now required to have this product installed. This allows the Florida team to capitalize on a prominent need in the Florida market utilizing one of the Cincinnati team’s newest products. The two teams have come together to offer customers a best in class approach, designing, installing and managing systems while providing the most pro-active support available on the market today.
“Combining the two companies’ services allows us to provide a truly dynamic solution for our clients,” says Jeff Foster, the newly appointed Vice President. “We expect this merger to allow us to further differentiate ourselves from competitors through our ability to provide a complete and innovative solution with the latest and most advanced technology available in an environment where technology is rapidly advancing on a daily basis.”
